Murkku Adventure

Murkku has the following:

A guide/operator with many years of wilderness experience
4 comfortable seats in total (1 always occupied by guide/operator), so 3 seats for the passengers
A heated cabin (don't expect to sit in a t-shirt and shorts, but at least you won't be freezing for sure
An intercom system for easy communication between passengers and guide/operator. The intercom headsets are also noise cancelling ear-muffs. Remember: Murkku can be very loud
GPS navigation maps with a radar to travel safe in any weather

A unique and exciting way to discover the frozen Inari Lake from the comfort of this special vehicle.

Murkku is an ex-border guard machine that used to roam the frozen Baltic-Sea, but has now moved to Lapland to the Inari Lake to take you on a once-in-a-lifetime adventure.

Murkku can float on the water and she can also glide on the snow and ice, making her the perfect machine all-year-round, but especially in from late Autumn until late Spring (November - May)

We offer tailor-made Murkku adventures with a duration of 2-8 hours that can include just driving on the lake or any of the following: ice-fishing, Winter net-fishing, light snacks by the open fire, wilderness lunch or dinner, chasing the Northern Lights, or anything that one can come up with.
