Vuono Lakeside Cabin is a typical Finnish log cabin (Mökki) built on the shores of Inari Lake. You have access to the traditional wood-heated Finnish lakeside sauna during your stay.
There is electricity in all of the buildings, and the heating is provided with electric wall heaters. You can also use the fireplace to warm up the cabin or just to enjoy the ambience of the fireplace.
The cabin fits 2 people comfortably with magnificent views to the lake. The location is extraordinarily peaceful and feels remote, while still being just 15km from Ivalo with all its services. From early September to the beginning of April it is one of the best places to see the Northern Lights as there is absolutely no visible light pollution in the area. You can go snowmobiling, ice-fishing or snowshoeing. In the Summer months, you can fish, boat, hike, pick berries or mushrooms, and even go for a swim on the sand beach.

All of the smaller log cabins are equipped with a mini kitchen with all pots, pans, and utensils as well as a coffee machine, a kettle. The cabins have 4 beds (bunk style) and pillows and blankets, but bed linen and towels are not included. The 7 cabins have 2 outdoor dry toilets that the guests can use. Fresh drinking water can be collected from the nearby natural water source. All of the cabins have electric heaters and 220v electricity available year-round.

1st November - 31st of May: ONLY YOU will be on the whole property during your stay, so the property is private and only for your use
1st of June - 31st of October: There can be other guests in other rental units on the property during your stay. The sauna and grill hut is shared among the guests staying in the cabins.

The property is big and has several other wooden log cabins. You will be the only guests on the premises. If you book for more than 2 guests, additional guests will be accommodated in one of the seven log cabins that are on the site (2 guests per cabin). Altogether, the property can fit 14 people (2 in the main cabin and 2 in each of the 6 additional cabins). The site is fully private, and it is only rented out to you! No other guests will be here during your stay. The last few pictures in the gallery are pictures of one of the additional wooden cabins. All 6 of them are identical in size and equipment, too.
